The mission purpose:
Leila was going to work with Dr. Hafez , an Egyptian archaeologistand a university professor . He was doing excavation work high up in the Andes.he was looking for the tomb of one of the Chimu kings. Sameria told Leila to take care of herself as working at the high altitudes was dangerous. Leila talked to Samira about the Incas. they used to live at high altitudes .The town Machu picchu was 3 thousands metres high. Cuzco their capital was higher The Incas were physically strongas they lived at high altitudes.Although the Incas hda no system of writing they occupied a huge empire and that was fantastic.
Questions:1- why was Leila going to Peru?to help Dr, hafez in his excavations.2-What was strange about the Incas?3-Why did Samira ask Leila to take care of herself/4- Where did the Incas live?
